From Two Pints to all new heights.... actor Will Mellor enjoys fun-filled family holiday in Florida
British actor, Will Mellor, best known for his role as Gaz Wilkinson in the BBC’s Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, gets in a spin on Busch Gardens newest ride, Cobra’s Curse, on a family holiday in Florida.
The star was in Florida with his wife and two children for a family holiday to the theme park capital of the world, where they got to grips with some of the destination’s scariest rides and came face-to-face with exotic animals.
Earlier in the week the family visited SeaWorld where Mellor put his nerves to the test on Orlando’s tallest, longest, fastest rollercoaster, Mako. The hypercoaster, which opened this summer, reaches speeds of 73mph, heights of 200ft and covers almost a mile of steel track. But it was more chills than thrills over at Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin where the family got up close to some of the attraction’s 250 penguin inhabitants.
Finally, the week was rounded off on a high with a visit to Orlando’s tropical oasis, Discovery Cove, where Mellor and his family were able to swim with dolphins and even meet a shark.
