A female Atlantic bottlenose dolphin has been born at Orlando's Discovery Cove – the second in just over a month.
The calf – which is currently unnamed – weighs around 22 kilograms and is almost 120 centimetres long. The new arrival is the 28th since Discovery Cove opened its doors in 2000.
The Discovery Cove Zoological Team is providing around-the-clock care for both mother and her new calf, alongside another female dolphin and her youngster which was born in February.
